e2open
Global supply chain & logistics software

Usability audit and re-engineering for a suite of Global Supply Chain products handling millions of transactions per day
The e2open project was a long term usability audit and re-engineering engagement. The product and the domain was fairly complex and as it involved handling the data of global logistics for Fortune 50s.
The tiniest change in a flow or interaction or even an icon would mean ripple effects including a load of development effort, in addition to a whole lot of users wondering what happened to something they knew ‘worked’ before.
The most challenging part of this engagement was working with an amazingly professional senior development & UX teams at e2open to understand the domain, users, workflows, pain points and needs. Delivering for a firm who is as good or better in UX (who usually sporadically outsources only to save time and speed up things internally) is always a good problem to have, as they demand nothing less than the best out of you.
We still stay engaged with e2open where the tasks are sporadic and on demand. We continue to deliver the best in class interaction and interface design services to them.
